EMDR Certified Therapist and a DoD certified Victim Advocate
I earned a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Mary, Bismarck, ND as well as a Bachelors in Business Management. I am an EMDR Certified Therapist and a DoD certified Victim Advocate.
Prior to starting my private practice, I worked at the Fargo Vet Center as a Readjustment Counseling Therapist for 5 years. My areas of focus were/are providing services to current service members, Veterans and their families. I am a Veteran of the armed forces with 20+ years of service.
Populations I have worked with include Veterans and current service members, law enforcement, fire department, first responders and assault victims. I have a passion for serving those who have lived through life’s adversity and help them on their journey to an improved quality of life. I believe we all deserve an opportunity to heal ourselves.
EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy has been thoroughly researched as an effective treatment for trauma and other distressing life experiences. EMDR Therapy can be used to treat a variety of issues to include:
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Sexual assault
- Domestic violence
- Grief and loss
EMDR Therapy is recognized by many organizations as an effective therapy for these issues. These organizations include the World Health Organization, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense (DoD), and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

CANCELLATION – Appointments need to be cancelled or rescheduled 24 hours in advance. Clients will be responsible to pay $60 for no-shows or if the cancellation is less than 24 hours. If a client is more than 15 minutes late for a session, the session will be cancelled, and the above fee will apply.
PAYMENT – Full payment for service is expected at the completion of each session. Cash, check, credit and debit card are accepted.
INCLEMENT WEATHER – In the case of inclement weather that occurs within the 24-hour notice period, we have the option to have our appointment via telehealth or cancel. The Fargo Public Schools will be followed for inclement weather. Either therapist or client reserves the right to request an online appointment in the case of inclement weather. The most important thing is that we remain as safe as possible!
